Today I'm going to talk about something that is very near and dear to me.

I had a friend actually, a kind of a, not a really close friend or anything, but somebody I know who

is a very progressive Christian on Facebook, a Facebook friend of mine and we've we've

interacted and usually it's hard to really do so because you know being an

atheist and her being a Christian, she can only give so much in terms of, you know, concessions before, obviously it runs into whatever fundamental belief she has.

But she's a she's someone who's good to talk to and there are arguments like Sam Harris has made that progressives are overall worse because they hide,

they hide fundamentalists and they give them cover. Not hide I guess is the wrong word but they give

give sort of shelter in a manner speaking for fundamentalists because they

sort of defend all of religion or they affect our discourse in this country in a way that gives

shielding to fundamentalists.

And I think there's a lot of truth to that.

There's also, of course, an undeniable way in which being progressive anything is going to be better than being fundamentalist, of course.

I mean, you're progressives are not going to harm anybody and they're not, you know, so.

While logically it's frustrating just to speak in purely, in purely logical terms to me it makes and I'll probably outline this later
