| 0:00.0 | You're listening to, atheistically speaking. Oh, Hey everyone. Welcome to our podcast. My name is Thomas and I'm David and |
| 0:39.0 | this being our first episode I thought we should do brief personal introduction. |
| 0:44.5 | So why don't we start with you, David? |
| 0:46.5 | Sure. I was born in Texas, raising California. I grew up vaguely religious, not really sure what that meant most of the time. |
| 0:55.0 | I didn't really know that there were options other than being some form of religion or another. |
| 0:59.6 | I went to college, started studying physics and philosophy. A lot of people felt that that was a |

| 1:45.0 | I'm coming to the atheism, maybe if people have listened to my other podcast, |
| 1:49.7 | they know that I come at atheism from more of a humorous angle and I thought that would be a |
| 1:54.8 | perfect combination to have the two of us going at for this new podcast but in |
| 2:00.1 | terms of my upbringing I was actually raised religious. |
| 2:04.0 | It sounds like a little more so than you, David. |
| 2:07.2 | I'm not sure if that's true, but it kind of sounds like that. |
| 2:09.8 | I was made to go to church and my mom was pretty actively into it. |
