Today we're going to focus on nouns that represent people in Joel's living room.

To begin with, another of Joel's relatives has arrived on the right side of the living room

near his Tio or uncle.

This is Joel's grandfather, but he's very different from Joel's uncle.

He's a lot older, of course, and he has a strange tendency of throwing his head

back, opening his mouth extremely widely, and wailing loudly, or crying very loudly. So Joel's

grandfather is often very sad and makes it known by shouting into the air and wailing loudly.

For that reason, Joel's word for grandfather is abuelo, with a stress on wail.

Abuelo.

Now let's go back to the Ottoman or footrest, where we learned the word amigo for friend.

Below the Ottoman today, we have someone who seems to be

the opposite of the lizard, at least in Joel's mind. It looks like Joel's friend the lizard,

but with a Joel-like mustache and eyebrows and a very strange nose. Joel calls this an enemigo.

So that's the opposite of amigo.

Enemigo.

The opposite of friend is enemy.

Now, of course, this person is actually the lizard wearing a groucho mask, but Joel doesn't

know that.
