At Joel's Pool today, we're going to learn adjectives of two general categories. There will be quite a few adjectives that actually float on the surface of the water,

and these are adjectives that would describe the positive or negative qualities of something,

generally in terms of beauty.

But first let's learn two new adjectives that sit beside the pool.

Previously, we learned the words,

Seguro,

Faisil, Difisil, Fuerte, and Igual.

These are general adjectives that are used to describe something,

usually after a ser adjective.

For example, the job is easy, the job is safe, the job is difficult, and so on.

For our first new word, remember that Joel's Fuerte swim suit is made of wood. Now, Joel wants to make sure that this

swimsuit is very strong, so he doesn't get hurt by the claws in the pool, and he tests the swimsuit's

strength or durability by hitting it with a heavy door. The word duro is almost a synonym for

Fuerte. It means hard or durable, whereas Fuerte indicates strong. Both words signify

toughness in some way, like the wooden swimsuit and the wooden door next to it.

Going back to the left side of the pool where we have the goo, the Seguro Gou is a pale yellow

green on the edge next to D'Fesil. So remember that most of the goo is very safe, but this stuff is very gross and dangerous.

It basically sucks you in like quicksand.
