But let's think about your own current range of expression in Spanish.

Until now, you've been speaking Spanish phrases that you've been taught.

Anytime that you spoke your own meaning into these phrases,

it was simply by changing some of the words in the stock sentence.

Now we're going to expand from there. In this episode, we're going to learn how to form entire sentences in Spanish from scratch.

Let's imagine that you are in your Spanish zone as described last week. You're

supposed to be turning your English thoughts into Spanish thoughts. At this time, right now,

this zone might feel pretty small and uncomfortable. How are you supposed to say and think

everything in Spanish when your own Spanish

sentences are so limited? Well, there are two ways to supplement your ability to think in Spanish.

First, you can expand your vocabulary. Of course, we do that every week, and we're going to do

that significantly this week.

But the second thing you can do is expand what you can do with your current vocabulary.
