The first rule of good talk radio is belt out your show.

But I'm telling you, when the air is 480 parts particulate matter per cubic leader of air

So I put my mask, I've got one of these N95 masks I've got the mask back on so that I can

breathe fresh air and it's amazing when I take the mask off boom I can smell

the forest fires again and apropos of that the world is melting down and Donald Trump is denying that climate change has anything to do with these forest fires.

He came out yesterday to California, lied through his teeth, ridiculed science and scientists.

This is a man who is hell-bent for leather to kill and destroy,

in my opinion, as many Americans as possible,

and I think he's doing it out of the psychopathology that Dr. Frank

described. I don't think he's intentionally sitting around saying oh I'm

going to kill people but at some level he has to know that the actions he's

taking are producing that

outcome. But in the category of that and of kind of Schodden-Froyd and I don't

know if this is going to be a wake-up call to this guy or not. Back in 2019, last year there was a bill

before the Oregon legislature to put a cap-and-trade program for fossil fuels for carbon into place here in Oregon.

It would have gone a long way toward stopping climate change,

or at least as long away as we can do with our 5 million people here in Oregon.

And 11 Republican senators walked out.

We have 30 seats in the Senate.

There was one that was vacant due to a death.
