Shohei Otani of the Los Angeles Dodgers just joined the 50-50 club.

He is the only member of the 50-50 club because this has never been done before.

First player to hit 50 home runs and have 50 stolen bases in the same season.

Now, he first seemed incredible because he was a pitcher,

and he could pitch and also hit.

But this season, he couldn't pitch because of an elbow injury.

Elbow injury.

So Otani decided during the offseason that he was going to work on his speed and I guess his power.

So he comes along and, I mean, this guy is going to Cooperstown.

No one has ever come close to doing this.

I don't think any of the people who except, you know, Dodgers fans who followed us very

closely knew how fast he was, stealing bases right and left, but still, you're walloping

these homers.
