Bernie and Medicare for All, Elizabeth Warren just rolled out a new tax plan this morning that

is creating quite a buzz and Julian Assange was just

arrested in the United Kingdom. Remarkable stuff. I'll get to the Julian Assange

stuff in just a few minutes but first I just wanted to go how is Bernie going to

pay for Medicare for all and you know he laid it out it's very straightforward

process in fact they've published a working paper on this but He notes every industrialized nation on Earth

has already done this has made health care a right rather than a privilege

has provided universal care to all and the consequence of that is that every other developed country in the world

has lower infant mortality raised, lower maternal mortality rates,

and a longer life expectancy than we do.

And they spend, on average, about half of what we do. And they spend on average about half of what we

spend. So how come we're the village idiots here? Bernie says number one top 70

percent marginal tax rate on Americans earning over $10 million a year.

You'll recall Alexander Yacasio Cortez talking about this.

A 77% top tax rate on estates above a billion dollars.

That's a significant estate tax.

A tax on extreme wealth.

A fee on large financial institutions, a 7.5% income-based premium paid by employers exempting the first 2 million in payroll. So small businesses basically if you're you know is even a tenth of that and so or I could go below that but in any case the the 7.5
