(0:00-9:54) Intro - Harbaugh Watch Continues (9:55-15:55) Early Heisman Odds (15:56-33:51) Bobby Carpenter Joins to talk Ohio State (33:52-1:01:43) Jesse Simonton Joins (1:01:44-1:03:18) Conclusion Harbaugh Watch 2024 continues with the news (reported by Adam Schefter) that Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh met with Los Angeles Chargers officials for a second interview. How close are we to clarity on Harbaugh's situation? Also, our friends at Fanduel have put out their early 2024 Heisman odds. Texas QB Quinn Ewers and Georgia QB Carson Beck are the favorites, but where is the value on the board? Also, is it possible that the 2024 winner isn't even on what looks like a pretty exhaustive list? Former Ohio State linebacker Bobby Carpenter (The Bobby Carpenter Show) joins to talk Buckeyes. The vibe is very different in Columbus now compared to three weeks ago, and it's easy to understand why as Bobby explains how Ohio State plans to use some of the excellent players it plucked out of the transfer portal. Next, On3 national columnist Jesse Simonton joins to discuss his story on possible solutions to college football's crazy calendar. Jesse and Andy also talk LSU and those early Heisman odds. that's going to be the job.

He's also interviewed with the Falcons.

Bill Belichick has interviewed twice with the Falcons too.

I've heard he's pretty good NFL coach as well.

So, but we shall see what happens with Jim Harbaugh.

The questions just keep going in. And this is going to take a while. As you see,

0:41.4

these NFL teams do not work like college teams when they are hiring head coaches. They

take their time. They interview lots of people, like the Chargers are also interviewing

general manager candidates. I would imagine that who the Chargers pick as the general manager will probably give us a clue as to who they'll pick as the coach or vice versa, depending on what order they want to go with.

So we're going to find out more as the time goes on.

But remember, there's still four teams playing in the NFL.

1:10.6

There's assistant coaches who teams want in the NFL. There's assistant

1:11.2

coaches who teams want to talk to. So this is probably going to drag out a little bit longer,

1:16.6

but it is nerve-wracking, I'm sure, in Ann Arbor. And that column we were talking about

with where I said, look, if you've looked at the last 10 days, if Jim Harbaugh leaves,

1:30.7

how do you not just elevate Sharon Moore? It was interesting getting the feedback from that one

on Monday. I had a few people say, well, no, no, they should hire Jesse Mentor as the head coach.

1:42.2

And I don't think Jesse Mentor would be sticking around.

1:44.9
