President-elect Donald Trump called on his party to kill the press freedom bill.

It's really important that we have Federal Shield laws to protect journalists at the federal level. We know that Trump is interested in going after whistleblowers, and it's absolutely essential that they are protected.

The law is called the PRESS, right, protect reporters from

exploitative state spying act. And Donald Trump, of course, refers to the media as the

enemy of the people and fake news, you know, unless it's the right-wing billionaire-owned

media. And at a 2020 rally in Texas, he says that he wants to send reporters who, quote, unnamed sources or whistleblowers to prison.

He said, when this person realizes he's going to be the bride of another prisoner shortly, he'll say,

I'd very much like to tell you exactly who that was

who blew the whistle on Donald Trump. Yeah. Yeah. This is sick. This is as bad as it gets.
