Another is perhaps the riskiest path the Jets could take, and a third has the Jets acting in both expected and surprising ways.

And every now and then this time of year, I like to look at mock drafts.

It's not that the mock drafts are going to be 100% accurate, but they give you a general sense

of how teams value players, which players are likely to go in which stages of the draft.

And they also play out how the Jets could handle various scenarios in front of them

because every team that picks in front of the Jets will change the draft.

Every player that goes off the board changes your strategy.

So it's a good thing to be able to look at the potential outcomes

and see what choices the Jets may have.

So let's start by talking about a recent draft ESPN put out, and this included four

of their analysts, Mel Kuiper Jr., Matt Miller, Jordan Reed, and Field Yates.

With the second pick in this draft, which is the Jets' opening pick in the first round, they

selected Arvel Reese, the edge out of Ohio State.

And this is kind of the chalk pick right now. I think most people believe that the Jets will

pick Reese when they're on the clock. I think David Bailey out of Texas Tech is another possibility.

But right now it's looking like Reese is the stronger possibility. And over the course of draft season,
