Today on Ramblings, I've come to Scotland to Falkirk.

I'm joining a group that's been set up by Jan B. Brown,

and she is the reader in residence with the Scottish Book Trust and with the Falkirk Libraries.

This series of roundings is about artists' ways.

We're going to various different places to explore what people are doing to connect walking with art.

And Jan, really, that's the concept of what you're doing here, isn't it?

It's the beginning of it anyway.

That's right. I'm very much about telling stories with my works.

And every story that I tell might have a different method I'm using,

might be knitting something or felting something or photographing.

And words always come into it.

And so I wanted people to just get used to playing with words, get that enjoyment back.

It's just getting people comfortable with being creative.

So whilst we're going along, if you can take a note or a mental or otherwise,

because everybody's got a pad and pencil.
