I would not take it back. It set me up to have this monument moment that I'm having now,

which is like a mountaintop experience, like after you've been through all the valleys and all the work,

and then you like, climb and climb and climb and get to the top and you're like oh wow I've made it that time.

I've done it. I've hit it to a mountain top and then you just start climbing again.

I have wanted to get Marisha Wallace on this podcast for literally years. We tried it a few years ago and I was meant to go backstage at Dream Girls where she played Effie and obviously that's the dream. I know of course my friend

Heather Dion Nicholas who's been on this podcast, three or four times.

He let me go backstage at both Hamilton and Aladdin when he was playing that.

And it's like a dream-country of summer. and Aladdin when he was playing that.

And it's like a dream-con-tru with someone who loves musical.

So I would have loved to go backstage at Dreamgirls.

Oh my God.

But we didn't make it happen.

Murisha is and has always been super busy because she's such a proactive, talented, sought

after person. She played Effie in Dream Girls and was the stand-in, she was

just a stand-in for Amber Riley, but so if you can hear in the background that's the sound of my dog running
