And this is an interaction between two robots. I was reading a report earlier today that said,

AI is now building AI. So anything's possible these days. And that's terrifying, absolutely terrifying.

And I'm going to try and suppress that feeling for the duration of this episode.

Now we are today going to be talking about AI in soccer, how much it is presently used, how much it could be used in the future, the ways it's used, and the ramifications thereof. Mr. Ruffin, you are the one who proposed this topic.

Why was it near and dear to your heart now knowing that you are indeed an AI model?

Yeah, I mean, that's the real reason. But also, we're doing this now because AI is this big,

scary story that is everywhere in society. I read, I just mentioned the report, I read a pretty eye-opening report by Axios yesterday about the advances being made by AI and how Anthropic has now made revenue of

over $21 billion in the last year alone. And their AI models are now being built by AI. So it got

me thinking about how soccer, of course, because I'm broken and I didn't immediately think about how like the labour market is going to be completely decimated, how none of us are going to have any money or, you know, how the political systems are going to be completely turned on their head.

What I thought of Taylor Rockwell was what was going to mean for soccer?

And so that's what we're going to explore in this episode, how soccer could change or how it has already changed because of society is going to change because of AI.
