My brother and I have never talked on the phone once

So when I saw my brother's name pop up on the caller ID my heart

sank I knew something was wrong and when I picked up the phone he just said

Eric mom's dead.

Eric's mom's dead.

Eric's mom Andrea had passed away unexpectedly.

She was my best friend throughout all my life.

She was the type of person who could walk into a party

and by the end everybody would know who she was.

The feelings you get after losing a parent I think is indescribable, especially when

you're as close to them as I was with my mom.

Grief does very strange things to people, and I'm no exception.

And that's kind of where Chateepte came into play.
