Summary

In 2002, two paintings were stolen from The Van Gogh Museum worth $30 million dollars. The investigation into this crime would involve law enforcement in several countries. Special investigators in both art crimes and organized crime units would also be brought in to solve the case of the missing Van Goghs.

This is the case of the Van Gogh was one of the most prolific artists of the 19th century. Born in

1853 in the Netherlands, he only lived until the age of 37, but created over 2,000 works of art, including almost 900 oil paintings.

Van Gogh never received much recognition for this art while he was alive.

As far as we can tell, he only sold two of his paintings during his lifetime

and died in relative poverty, surviving on money given to him by his family,
