Summary

37-year-old, Art "Artie" Carl Makepeace is an unaired predator featured on the Suburban Washington, D.C. episode of To Catch a Predator. He is best known for his creative good samaritan excuse, as well as being convicted of sexual battery before the sting. He used the screen name vamillionaire messages a decoy posing as a thirteen-year-old girl. At the beginning of the chat he claims that he did not realize the girl was only thirteen. Artie wastes no time and asks the girl if she is ok that he is thirty-seven, to which she replies yes. Artie then tells the girl that he is only looking for one thing.
