Hello and welcome to the Arsenal Women Askcast on UsBlog.com with me, your host, Tim Stillman, with a January New Year mailbag edition, which we're kind of a mini mailbag

edition, really, which we did kind of promise ahead of the second half of the season. Obviously,

loads and loads of activity. We've recorded the third goalkeeper from Lone. Smiller-Holmberg's

come in. We thought that was definitely worth the podcast, but in all seriousness, we just thought

ahead of what's going to be really, really busy January and rest of season. We'd come back

with a new year podcast. Happy New Year to all of our listeners. Hope your 2026 is going better than

mine. I've had norovirus and now I'm developing quite a nasty cop.

So there we go.

It could be worse, I suppose.

And here to bring in 2026 and discuss some of the big issues of the day around

Arsenal women.

How is it looking in the future?

In the future, it's looking fantastic, Tim.

We're in the middle of a heat wave.

Last time I was on this podcast, it was 17 and rain ahead of Christmas.

And now it's, I think it's 41 degrees tomorrow.

So, yeah, it's going to be a long summer. However, I would rather be here in the heat than you with your terrible start to 2026 and all your illnesses in the freezing cold. However, I don't say, England looks beautiful right now. Some snow up and down the country. So I do have a little bit of FOMO but excited to you know get back

into a new year of Arsenal yeah absolutely minus three here tomorrow really excited to see what

that means for two Meadow Park cup ties later later this month if if I tell you what if they both happen

I will be color me very shocked if they both go ahead when they should.
