and welcome to the first post-match podcast of the new season, a new season where, and I want to emphasize

this, Arsenal played one, one-one, and we've conceded no goals. We're back off, flying up and running, having beaten Manchester

United at Old Trafford, a thing that we didn't used to do much, but we've started to do more.

And I, for one, think it's worth enjoying it. I have to say, I am a person who believes

performances matter, because ultimately, if you are not a team that

plays well, you are not going to win much. But I also believe that winning football matches

against your hated rivals away to start the new season is a cause for joy. And so it is an

opportunity for us to do the best thing possible, really soak all the joy out of an important win at a place where

we have not historically been great, and also find learning lessons, find interesting analysis

that can help us understand where some of the challenges were and how we may improve on that

moving forward. So that is, I think, the perfect tee-up for what could be a great podcast. And that is, of course, what Arsenal we're trying to do. See, they care about their fans. And they know that some of their fans are content creators, our podcasters. And they care about those people, too. And we care about you.
