Hello and welcome to another Arscaste Extra, as always with James from GunnerBlog

Slash the Athletic James, Goodly Morning and congratulations to you on your

new gig. Thank you very much. Yeah, it's exciting. I'm really happy to be doing it

and happy to be working alongside some really great people. Yeah, I'm good to

it. Team mates, Amy Lawrence, David Ornstein, that's not bad. It's not bad, is it? It's

not bad. I saw someone compare it to Arscaste's front three of what they're

making like a set of Pepe. I was very flattered by that. I wouldn't dare to

hazard a guess at which one I might be, but I really am looking forward to

working with those guys and learning a lot from them. I think it's a really

interesting prospect and a really interesting model. I hope it works because

I think it will introduce some really quality writing without clickbait and

advertising and all those things. So it'd be great if it could sort of

replicate to an extent what's already happened with Arscaste's blog and focus on

the content first. That would be really nice. Yeah, that's true. Just for the

record, I should point out that I turned the athletic down.

Not out of any other reason, then we'd already built something here with our

Patreon and our subscribers and the idea that we could then take that away

and move it somewhere else just didn't fit with what we're doing here.

Obviously, we're very grateful to all the people who support what we do on

Patreon and we're happy to have you along. But it's interesting to have these
