Hello there, welcome to another RCast Stextra as always with James from gonna blog hello to you. Good afternoon.

Let recording little later than usual, but I think we've probably needed the time to digest and prepare ourselves for this.

Yeah, I mean, that's not why we're recording later.

But that was driving a car back from Wales, but you know, we've got to take, we've got a grasp of straws here.

Yeah, I think straws are the only thing that we've got left to grasp to I don't even know where to fucking start.

No, you know normally when we do the podcast, I said I have a clear idea of how things are gonna go and what we're gonna talk about and how we're gonna talk about it and what structure it might take.

You know, that's not to say we do an awful lot of planning other than sort of say hello, let's start recording.

But you know, you just have it in your head that this is the way it's gonna go and today I'm really not sure what we can say that we haven't already said.

I'm not sure what we can analyze that we haven't already analyzed and it feels like a weird one.

So we'll just have to wait and see where it takes us.

I mean, maybe we'll get to an argument about jam and that'll fill the next hour somehow.

I don't know, it's really difficult today.

It's difficult because but by the same token I can't actually say I feel particularly surprised.

I mean, as this caught you off guard at all, I kind of even though we had the little upturn, I always felt like this was a game that wasn't gonna end pretty well.

No, no, not terribly surprised.

I was a little more hopeful going into it than I would have been.

You know, after the FA Cup game, I thought, well, okay, you know, there's something there.

There's something still there after the FA Cup game and then, you know, I could see when we played Lester in midweek,

you're going, well, look, we did just play 120 minutes against Manchester City playing against a team that hadn't played a game

and they were just interested in defending.

It wasn't a great performance.
