Summary

On this week's show I meet former player John Devine. John left Ireland as a 15 year old to join Arsenal and become part of the large Irish contingent at the club in the 70s and 80s. We discuss how his move came about, how he settled in as a young man, the highs and lows of his Arsenal career and beyond, as well as getting some thoughts on the current side. I also look ahead to this weekend's North London derby and there's the usual waffle too.

the nature of some people, but in general if we could just you know keep winning and

stick with the not losing thing I'd be I'd be all right with that. It has been a

1:10.6

pretty uneventful week so we've got to do something a little bit different with

other Irish guys that were there at the time. So we get the story of how that came to happen.

How was he spotted in Dublin? How did he make the move to Arsenal? What was it like?
