This is an appeal, on behalf of R's blog.

Tragedy is a word thrown about too often.

So often it almost loses its meaning.

An ex-factor single not getting to Christmas number one is not a tragedy.

A country not qualifying for the World Cup because of a deliberate handball is not a tragedy.

A famous golfer having sex with lots of women is not a tragedy.

Yet recently we've all witnessed one.

It continues to unfold before our very eyes.

It has affected tens of thousands of lives and could potentially affect hundreds of

thousands more in the months and possibly even years to come.

It's all too easy for us to sit back and watch, to do nothing, while those lives continue

to suffer through fear and uncertainty.

But there is something you can do, you can help.

Any donation, no matter how small, could mean so much.
