More than two and a half years ago, Erica and I came across Carla Walker's case.

I won't speak for Erica, but I was obsessed right away.

We began shooting ideas off each other on how to help bring the case back to life and at some point in which I don't remember we decided on a podcast gone cold.

When I began reaching out to family and friends, some were wary about my intentions, and rightfully

so, they didn't know me at all.

I finally did get in touch with Carla's sister Cindy and brother Jim and of course

Rodney who was also a victim of this terrible crime. As Erica and I got to know

them and Carla's amazing friends, we also got to know Carla herself.

Getting her story back in the public's attention in as big a way we could became personal to us.
