case offer a glimpse of the prosecution's evidence in a fatal shooting

that shook the real estate industry 15 years ago. Fifty-three-year-old Kristen Ramsey was arrested

last month for first-degree murder in the April 2011 death of Ashley Auckland. Auckland was

working in open house at a model townhouse when she was shot in the face and the chest at close

range. Court documents say a woman who was in the neighboring town home said she heard two loud noises a few seconds apart, then saw Ramsey by the model home's front door before she was seen by her car talking on her phone. The filings show that call was to an employee of the company that owned the development. At the time, Ramsey was a sales manager. After Ramsey drove off erratically, the witness went to the home

and found Auckland unresponsive. Two search warrants were executed at Ramsey's home,

including one carried out less than a month after the shooting. In both cases, the document says

authorities found guns, illegal substances, and posters threatening violence. There's more on
