Today, we are going to be talking about Spencer Tepey and Monique Tepey. An Ohio dentist and his

wife were shot to death in the early morning hours of December 30th, 2025 in what investigators

describe as a complex case that has captivated national attention.

Spencer Tepey was 37, and Monique, his wife, 39, were found murdered in their Columbus home

just one month before their fifth wedding anniversary, in the same residence where they exchanged

vows. Their two young children, ages four and one, were found unharmed inside,

adding another layer of mystery to a case with no arrests and very few public answers.

Spencer Tepe was a dentist at Athens Dental Depot, about 75 miles from his Columbus home.

A graduate of Ohio State University with degrees in biology,

Spanish, and dental surgery, he was known for his dedication to patients and colleagues.

His employer described him as someone who always showed up and would contact us if there were any

issues. Beyond his practice, Spencer volunteered with Big brothers, big sisters of central Ohio,

mentoring a young man named Hans from the first grade through college in what the organization

called one of their best success stories. Monique Tepe held a master's degree in early childhood

education from Ohio State and worked with children before becoming a stay-at-home mother.

Family described her as loving, patient, and joyful with an infectious smile that lit up every room.

The couple met online and married in December 2020 in a private ceremony at their Wyneland Park home,

the same home where they would later be killed.

Their brother-in-law, Rob, told reporters, you never saw them
