0:57.3	which succeeded by the slimmest margin yet, and over the objections of most of the state leaders,
1:03.7	New York became the 11th state to join the Union, with only Rhode Island having rejected it
1:09.6	in a statewide referendum.
1:11.9	So for those of you proficient in math, you're probably saying to yourself,
1:15.9	11 plus 1 equals 12, and keen observers of this podcast may be aware that there are 13 original states.
1:23.3	So you're thinking to yourself, there's got to be one more ratification story.
