Joining us for the very first time is Associate Professor at East Carolina University, Armand

Krishna.

His teaching areas include security studies, international relations, American foreign policy,

intelligence studies, and his research interests include privatization and outsourcing in the national security sector, military robotics,

military ethics, targeted killings, shadow wars, and U.S. covert action, as well as government secrecy.

He's the author of a number of books, some of which I've been scanning through, very excellent,

including killer robots, and military neuroscience in the coming age of

neuro warfare, fifth generation warfare, and Havana syndrome.

Thank you very much for inviting me to your show.

I'm very excited to be here, and I hope I can give you some ideas of my research and about the things that are

just very important in the world. Yeah, and I wanted to get sort of like a one-on-one

masterclass from you, an overview on these subjects which are broad and which I haven't,

it's a shame, I haven't really dealt with them on the podcast.

And I need to more.

Well, I'm from Germany. I've studied in England and I've been in the United States since 2009.

I have a strong interest in everything national security and in the future of war.
