Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld. Welcome to another episode of Rob Observations. Thank you for

joining me as always as we continue to travel the vast, vast landscape of comic books and pop culture.

And today we have a doozy. When I tell you that this has been boiling up inside of me

since i was a wee lad since i was a young young young young man uh i i mean believe it

believe me when i tell you that this has been boiling it has been something i have wanted to share

and uh we are just going to have the best time today.

If you like Apocalyptic Armageddon scenarios comic books, then we are in the same treehouse

because to be honest, I think pretty much the world likes apocalyptic Armageddon scenarios.

I think we're all kind of joined as one hands across America,

or if it's the Armageddon, hands across broken America,

hands across broken world, hands across a broken globe,

because we love this stuff.

We can't get enough of it.

We love when the world around us

is seared and destroyed and burned to the ground and we have to restart it, repopulate it,

navigate whatever went wrong and just kind of reset the world. And this, really, this episode, shout out to John Krasinski, who's a quiet place number two, part two,

which I saw this last weekend and loved, and we'll get into that in a second because that really set the table for all this.

As I'm watching John Krasinski who I mean let's let's be

honest guys this guy's a hell of a director I mean he has been paying attention uh obviously

his whole life he wanted to be an actor but he has paid attention to some of the great

direction he's received as well as you know uh studied the greats. I see Hitchcock. I see Spielberg. I see Cameron.

I see Ridley Scott. He's just a fantastic director. And a quiet place, the world of a quiet
