Hello and this week we have Apple Insider Video Producer, contributing, and does many of our reviews on the site.

0:15.2

Andrew O'Hara, is that right?

0:17.4

That is it, Andrew O'Hara.

0:19.4

Very cool.

0:20.4

Thanks for joining me this week, Andrew.

0:22.4

Yeah, of course. And we have some interesting news this week. I wanted to launch with, I think, some of the biggest news that we've seen, talking about the Arm-based Mac. So the actual news that came out this past week was Ming Chiquo. He says that

0:35.5

Arm Macs will be coming in the first half of 2021. And the actual quote is that

1:16.8

beats and the AirPods Pro, and then the U-1 wide-band chip. So they are no strangers to making their own silicon obviously. And so this is kind of

1:26.2

exciting. This opens up a lot of possibilities for Apple. Again, practically it means that they

1:31.8

could not be at the whims of Intel.

1:34.4

They start developing their own Silicon and

1:36.5

so it would be really interesting to see.

1:38.5

And I was thinking about it, Andrew, do you remember?

1:41.0

I don't know how old you are actually, so we'll see if you actually remember this.

1:44.3

Do you remember that Power PC to Intel Transition back early 2000s?
