Ben Hicks has been named the starting quarterback at Arkansas. Chad Morris just broke that

news today at his noon press conference so we're going to talk about that. We're

going to talk about the depth chart which has 12 freshmen on it right now and

Keith Grayson is going to join us talk a little bit about Portland State. All that more on

All right we're going to get to the video real quick where Chad Morris introduces Ben Hicks as the starting quarterback for Arkansas.

Everything's earned in this program. Nothing's given and Ben has earned the right to start and will be our starter week one going into Portland State, Ben Hicks.

The competition between Ben and Nick has been impressive to say the least over three weeks.

Nick has done a great job and has picked up the offense in a few short weeks and has an incredible skill set.

And we're excited to watch his continued growth

and knowledge of this offense and the understanding of this offense in weeks to come.

But we feel very confident in Ben and his complete overall knowledge as you would expect,

Ben has been in this offense for three years.

Been here since January.

Nick has been in this offense for three weeks.

And but to see the growth of what Nick has done

over three weeks has been extremely impressive.

And I think Ben has an incredible command for everyone and where everyone should be.

We're going to play a lot of young guys.

And that alone was the main deciding factor.
