Good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study on Thursday nights. We're going through the Bible verse by verse. We're in Isaiah.

And tonight, chapter 60, we left off last week in chapter 59. Almost done. Can you believe it?

Six more chapters after tonight. And then you know what book comes after Isaiah, right? Jeremiah, good.

See? You guys can come up here and teach this then. Jeremiah, wow, what a, I know I said that

about Isaiah. I know I say that about every book of the Bible,

but really looking forward to Jeremiah. Very, very interesting book, very interesting prophet,

as we're going to see. If the rapture doesn't happen before, so we'll see. But what a ministry too that he had.

And he's affectionately referred to and rightfully so as the weeping prophet for good reason.

that we have on a Thursday night to come to this, church and open up our Bibles and open up our

hearts and our ears and our eyes to see. Lord, many of us I know come to this Bible study on a Thursday night having had one of

those weeks, maybe just one of those days, just all the stresses and pressures, and especially

with everything that is happening in the world today.

And this Bible study for us represents a sanctuary, a solace, a respite even.

It's that time where we can just come here and put all of that aside and with the help of the Holy Spirit, just give

you our undivided attention with no distractions so that you can minister to us and speak into our lives in and through your word.

You always do, Lord, as only you can.

And we're so grateful to you for them.

Lord, for any that are really struggling that just need a word from you, just hungry and thirsty, knowing that only you

can satiate that hunger and that thirst, Lord. Please, we are pleading with you and begging

of you to do that which only you can and always do, Lord. We want to leave here tonight
