My guest on the podcast today is Arile Wolf,

head of the Autonomous and Connected Mobility Practice at Venable,

which is a national law firm that specializes in government affairs and

regulatory compliance.

He's going to break down some of the details and the big news of the week, which is California moving ahead with autonomous trucks, despite opposition from the teamsters and other labor unions.

What have you been up to in working on this week?

Yeah, so this week I've been doing sort of an assortment of things.

I'm judging the applications for our 100 leading women in the North American auto industry.

So that list will come out next year and we're getting some really inspiring applicants.

It's hard, it's really hard to judge and it's cool to see how much these women have done and

also how the assignments sort of have changed like there's definitely a strong

focus on technology which we cover all the time so it really shows the evolution of the

industry so stay tuned for that program in the list next year. That's awesome
