She plays Anita in Steven Spielberg's version of West Side Story.

She won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.

She's now nominated for the Oscar in that category as well.

So much going on in her life, and let's call it just the last month.

She hosted Saturday Night Live.

She won that Golden Globe and got nominated for an Oscar.

Overnight success is a term we hear a lot.

Usually not true.

Decades go into building that success.

Ariana DeBoes came up through Broadway.

She was in the original company of Hamilton.

She was a dancer and a singer.

She played the bullet if you've seen the show that slowly moves from the gun of Bert

Ward Hamilton.

And she has done it all on Broadway.

She's been center stage in summer, the Donna Summer musical for which she was nominated

for a Tony Award.

She's been a dancer in the background.
