Nightly show this is something really near and dear to our hearts here at the

Beat It's a new series we launched called Open Mind and what you're about to

hear goes beyond what you've seen on the show or maybe heard it's longer full

interviews that we've done in our Open Mind series where we actually try to walk

the walk on this whole idea of where we are in the world and in the country today

and polarization and we take ideas specifically that might sound off the wall

or up out there and just have an open mind for them. First you're going to

hear our newest one a long-term kind of deeper discussion about labor rights

and whether we all work too much and would you rather work less than five days a

week and how that's actually functioning in certain other countries already

that's our first open mind then after that a discussion of whether animals

should have more rights like for real and court like lawyers for animals and

again the idea here isn't that you have to agree with this stuff or that it

immediately sounds logical but that it's worth hearing after both of those

discussions which again are kind of longer podcasts than we usually have time

for on the TV show I have a whole other deeper conversation with Ann

Wajiki who started 23 and me so we put this together for you as an extra we've
