Welcome, Severin Swanson, thank you for inviting me to join you this morning.

We're reaching across the pond today, so I thought it was appropriate to put my old school in there of King's College.

So I'm coming to you from the study backs of King's College there in Cambridge.

I'll forgive you that.

I couldn't find a suitable background, so you find me sitting in my converted office at home.

But the content I hope is more important than surroundings.

Absolutely, absolutely. Well, to get us started, please share a brief overview of your executive coaching practice today.

Okay, before I start going into that, I'm going to say that I'm an unconventional coach.

I fell into coaching way, way back before it was even popular and I didn't know I was a coach.

It's only latterly that I've come to accept that what I do would be classes coaching.

And why I say I'm not conventional is because my why and why I'm driven is that I believe in challenging the status quo.

I like to get people to look at things through fresh eyes and with fresh thoughts and try out new things and do them differently.

And that is what drives me all the time.
