I, honest to goodness, feel like it's been forever since we did an episode of True Crimecast.

I don't remember.

We got ahead before I started my new job, but now we're behind. I don't remember when that was. It was a very long time. It's been weeks. So excited to, uh, excited to get back in the saddle. You know what I mean? Well, you have brought us a terrific case today. And it's one that you've had, like, researched and written up for a long time.

But we had to wait on the trial to wrap up before we would ever present it. So that's happened.

And that's the case we're going to be doing today. Yeah. So the premise is,

dad dies, mom writes children's book to help kids cope with dad's death oh wait did mom kill him yeah

so that was the headline not the headline but kind of the the general story that grabbed

my attention this is just such a special episode because one it's one that we've been just like

eagerly awaiting the outcome of the trial.

But we also have a guest who is going to appear today.

Jules, our friend and longtime like podcast peer, she's going to be reading some of that book for us today.
