God's church and people in this world. Today, we're looking again at the life of Abram. We're

getting digging to Genesis chapter 12 today. But before we do that, I want to ask you something.

Do you have dragons in your life that you're trying to slay? I don't mean literal dragons,

obviously. I mean, those big, insurmountable objects. Well, I've written a fictional series

of books about a dragon slayer as if dragons really existed in this world back in the medieval

day. And what would that have been like? And I'm using it to pose situations and circumstances

versus one through three. Now, yesterday, we looked into the beginnings of Abram's story.

And we found out he lives with his father and one brother and an nephew and his wife and his

extended family there in a place called Haran. And they've just moved from a place called Er to

this place called Haran. And the main issue in Abram's life is that he has no children and his

wife cannot bear children. We don't know why we're not told. And so we begin in Genesis 12

verse number one, picking up that storyline. It says, now the Lord said to Abram.
