0:13.4	Exodus. You know how when you install a new piece of software on your
0:18.1	computer there pops up this little agreement that you have to click the I Agree

0:25.0	Now how many times have you read the software agreement?
0:28.0	Probably zero.
0:30.0	How many times have you clicked the I agree button?
0:32.0	Well, probably every time. I think the Ten Commandments are a lot like that.
0:36.7	We haven't really read them, but we agree with them. We're not sure what they all are, but we agree with them.
0:42.1	Even if we know what they are, we're not sure what they all are but we agree with them. Even if we know what they are we're not sure
0:44.6	what they say but we agree with them. That's especially true of the third
0:48.8	commandment. It's found in Exodus 20 verse 7. It says you shall not take the name of the Lord
0:55.0	your God in vain for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who
0:58.6	takes his name in vain.
1:01.0	Now does that command mean that we shouldn't cuss? Does it mean watch what you say?

1:15.2	nature of the other commandments. Does don't cuss fit? And if that's all it means, don't cuss, then that would for sure be the easiest of the
1:24.3	Commandments to keep, wouldn't it? Well if we're going to understand what it
1:27.7	means to take the Lord's name in vain, let's start with the significance of
1:31.9	the name of God.
