Now let's lean into the message together.

Matthew Chapter 12, we're going to read a conversation with Jesus.

We are in this collection, New Day's Same same demons, taking a very close look at spiritual

warfare.

And, you know, this week, something, I was praying for a specific thing, and it was confirmed,

and I don't know about you, but it's nice when you get a sign, right?

It's nice when you get a sign. But we live in a generation that is

obsessed with signs. We live in a generation that lives their life from sign to sign, whether it be

horoscopes, psychics, whether it be spiritual practices, even within the church, sometimes we can seek out a roller coaster of emotion.

And seemingly spiritual confirmations can become an obsession in our spiritual walk of following Jesus.

It can become a measuring stick of what effective church is.

Sometimes Christians can seek spiritual highs instead of spiritual truth.

And we're going to talk about it today.

We're leaning into Matthew

Chapter 12, verse 38.

It's a conversation between Jesus and the Pharisees.

The Pharisees were the religious leaders of that day.

Verse 38 says,

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him,

saying, teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.
