Hello my friends welcome back it is time for the morning my tech carry green here I appreciate

you listening and I hope it doesn't seem strange that I so often call you friends even though

we've never met I believe what the scripture says that has believers in Jesus Christ we are of one

body we are of one family in fact we are a holy nation of people belonging to God and that is a

closer than most human bonds that we know of and so calling you friends seems like the least I

can do I could call you brothers I could call you sisters because it's real in God's eyes

and in the economy of heaven so friends thank you for joining me it's time for us to get our minds

aligned with God's truth today we're doing that by looking at Proverbs chapter 11 verse number four

and this verse has lots of depth to it even though it's a very simple concept let's read it it says

riches do not profit in the day of wrath but righteousness delivers from death now in order for

us to understand this the way that we're intended to understand it we need to step back from our

everyday life the pressures the stresses the responsibilities that we carry and look toward the

future we need to recognize that what we're experiencing now and even the things that we will

experience just in our 70 or 80 years of living on the planet if God is merciful and allows us to

live that long are not the whole story do you recognize that that's not the whole story there's

history that's been going on from the beginning of creation all the way until the day of wrath which

is a phrase God uses to describe the day when he will return in judgment and will judge the sin

and the simple people of the world he will also judge the righteous but with a different kind of

judgment we're going to get into that in just a moment but we've got to begin understanding this

verse by recognizing that fact that our life is not all that matters our life actually is a tiny

little scratch on the long timeline of eternity and now as we focus back in on our life and the

things that make up our life and the the beneficial things that come into our lives he's going to
