In the book, it's chapter 11, but the talk will be, what will Jesus' kingdom be like when

he returns?

And so, when we think about Jesus, almost everybody thinks about the past.

And even great things that are appearing in culture like the chosen or other forms of

entertainment that are sort of reminding us of Christ's earthly life, they're great and they're

helpful.

And I praise God for them.

But it's always looking back.

And what I want to do in this talk, I want to not look back. I want to look at the present and the future and ask questions like, well, what is Jesus doing today? I don't know if you know this. He's alive. So that's really good news for us. What's he doing today? And what's he got planned for the future? Like what's coming? What's next on his agenda? And so we're going to deal a lot with

heaven and hell and the intermediate state and what's going to happen as we get near the end
