What are we talking about today?

We are talking about being in the middle. Like me. I have an older brother and a younger sister.

Is that what you mean? No. No. We are talking about being in our 30s, 40s, somewhere in between

there, and being parents of young children or children that obviously still need our care.

Right.

And also having parents who we may need to assist in some way, maybe on just a real basic level or on a more, you know, on a bigger level.

Yeah, broad spectrum there.

Like sometimes it's small potatoes where you've got to help your mom shovel the sidewalk because she's got a bad back.

Which hopefully you've been doing most of your life anyway.

Or to the point where, you know, parents become elderly and all of a sudden they need lots and lots and lots of help.

Right.

And so there was a book that came out a few years ago by Kelly Corrigan called The Middle Place.

And the story was about her being in that middle place because she was, and actually she

also had to take care of herself too.

She found out she had cancer.

And her father ended up having cancer.

And then she had young children and she wanted to have more children.

So she was still kind of, she was all over the place.
