Our Father, we want to understand your word the way that you intend for it to be understood.

So open our hearts and minds. Help us to see where in our lives this teaching needs to be applied

and give us the courage and boldness and strength by your Holy Spirit to do it. In Jesus' name,

Okay, 1. Peter 4.9.

It's a very simple statement.

It says, show hospitality to one another without grumbling.

So you might pick up there in the middle where it says to one another.

He's talking about Christians. He's saying one Christian to another Christian and back and forth, we are to show hospitality. Now, it will

help us if we can define that word very clearly. If you're aware in our culture, we have an industry,

we call the hospitality industry. And it's businesses like hotels

and restaurants and coffee shops are all considered to be part of the hospitality industry.
