Well, how we do in Passion, D.C. It is so great to get to be here with you today.

Again, my name is Timothy Atik and I am the director of Breakway

Ministries in College Station, Texas.

And I'm so glad to get to be filling in for my friend Ben Stewart. I love the work that God is doing through Ben and Donna and the entire team at Passion DC. so it is a joy to get to jump in and study the word of God with you.

I want to start just by telling you a story of something that happened several years ago on Good Friday, the Friday right before

Easter Sunday. My wife, Catherine, and my son Noah, who was two years old at the time, we were

living in Austin and the church

that I was working for decided to do a joint Good Friday service with several

other churches in the Austin area and so eight different churches converged on this convention

center in downtown Austin so I loaded up my sweet white Buick minivan with my wife and my son and we made our way to this

convention center in downtown Austin we went into the service and we began to

enjoy the service and then my son Noah who was two decided to be vocal at times when it

probably wasn't best to be vocal so we just decided that we and probably

everyone else around us would enjoy the service best if

we watched the service on the TV screens in the lobby.

So we went out into the lobby, we gave our son Noah a ball so he could play catch with

himself and we were pretty much the only people out in the lobby and as we're watching the

service I will never forget this guy walked in who was

wearing a hat that said I heart Jesus and I was like man if you ever want to know if someone loves

Jesus it's really helpful
