Let's talk the zero-orbit targets and potential pivot points on running back, back phase, or 2025 with the one of the only Danny Carter.

We did a show earlier this week.

We talked through some offenses to potentially buy in when there's a little bit of a discount or potentially a lot of a discount heading

into the 2025 football season. Check that one out. Denny, today we are going to talk about one

0:29.4

of our favorite things in the entire world. There is a, like we talked at the start of the last

when you mentioned by playing golf. Don't tell me you like playing golf more than drafting zero rb players you know it's close uh but as for for as long as zero rb drafting is legal in the

0:44.2

united states i'm going to keep doing it so that's my promise to you yeah and we've had a lot of fun

0:49.6

conversations over the years about zero rb but i i have had someone recently with different people

0:54.1

and i'm

0:54.5

trying to get that hype out there that people were disgusted of how things worked out for them

0:58.8

when they attempted to draft zero it's so funny oh my i love when someone someone says i went zero rb and i

finished 15th well that's part of it first of all like like you're're drafting for upside, but it's like a high variance of draft strategy. Also, also, you didn't draft zero RB if you started your draft with two wide receivers. Okay? You didn't do it. There's lots of things that go wrong, yeah. But it was highly adopted. A lot of success in the best ball streets over the last couple of years. And last year it was adopted on almost 20, over 20% of all rosters started with some type of zero RB build. But there's a lot of the principles that this is my thing of the offseason. People drafted them but didn't draft them correctly. And some of those like parameters would have been like, you know, no running backs true round five. But the rest of the team then is like if you draft completely trash players, you're going to get into some trouble. And then the environment was a little bit tricky. But I think it sets up for a good year this year, potentially a great year because that number of 20% of teams is going to go down, I think, to 10 to 12%. That opens up the pathways again. So we're going to start off with one that I think is right on the range. Between the sixth and the eighth round, we have the Pittsburgh Steelers running backs. We have Jill and Warren at running back 31 in the eighth round. We have Caleb Johnson, running back 27 in the sixth round. So let's say you can start in the sixth round draft in those running backs. We get the rookie in and we get Warren. Warren is somebody I've really liked, but hasn't

fully ever completely broken out to have a substantial, continuous role. Last year was

with Najee Harris. Naji Harris goes out of town this year, but they do draft a highly coveted

2:34.6

rookie in Caleb Johnson.

2:36.6

How are you feeling about the Pittsburgh Steelers backfield?

2:39.5

We obviously have a quarterback that eventually signed over there over the course of the

2:43.7

offseason in Aaron Rogers, and we can see how that all works out.

2:47.3

I'm not excited about the Steelers this season.

2:50.2

They are actually playing over in

2:51.3

Ireland here, which is pretty exciting to get a game over here playing the Vikings during the

2:55.6

season. But how are you feeling about that backfield? I'm sure Aaron Rogers is thrilled to
