I got my hair braided because I was just tired of looking at my hair and I didn't want to twist it no more.

So I just needed a break. No big deal. People get their hair braided every day all the time.

I know. It's all protective styling summer 17 for me.

Listen, mine is not even about protect. This is about lazy being lazy and slothful.

Not really wanting to touch my hair for the next three months. That's really what it's always about.

But I like to say protective styling because it sounds nice.

It's like in style. It's like trendy to be protective styling.

But really, all I have to do is spray my scalp with oil like it's lit.
