Very excited for this week of episodes. I have a lot of thoughts here and we'll see if we can combine them all into one cohesive theme.

I think we did a week on this before, but it's so essential.

I think it's the fundamental dividing line,

because it's a sword of a political podcast,

it's the fundamental dividing line between progressives and conservatives,

certainly between Christians and non-Christians.

Do you believe that people are born good, or do you believe that people are born sinful? Whichever you pick will send you in a completely different direction

on almost every, I would say every,

but I haven't considered every issue. So I will say almost every, probably every political

issue there is. And that's what I want to explore a bit this week. So the first question is,

are you born good? Let's answer that,

get that out of the way. And then we can talk about the ramifications of that. The Bible says,

no. Now you can think whatever you want. I remember when I was first encountering this many years

ago. I was talking to my father-in-law. And I said, you know, there's a lot of people who think

that you are born good. And he said, well, those people are wrong.

I can't say it quite like he did.

But he's from East Tennessee the way he said it was very funny.

But those people would be wrong.

Just as a matter of fact, as can be.

Those people are wrong.
