| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the Morning Mindset, my friends. I'm so glad that you're here. I know you |
| 0:07.8 | have many options, many ways you could be seeking the Lord first thing in your day, and |
| 0:13.3 | I'm glad you've chosen to make the Morning Mindset part of how you go about that task. |
| 0:19.1 | The Morning Mindset is designed to help you get your mind aligned with the truth of God. |
| 0:23.8 | Let's dive in, let's go. Proverbs chapter 6 verses 21 through 26 is where we're at today, |
| 0:31.0 | and as we begin reading, this may sound very familiar because it is very similar to a previous |
| 0:38.3 | section that we read. I believe it was back in Proverbs chapter 4 where Solomon was warning young |
| 0:45.0 | men especially against the wayward woman, a woman who is sexually enticing, and we've applied |
| 0:52.7 | that in terms of lust and pornography and things like that that we experience in our day. This |

| 1:12.7 | and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life to preserve you from the evil woman, |
| 1:18.7 | from the smooth tongue of the adulterous. Do not desire her beauty in your heart or let her |
| 1:25.7 | capture you with her eyelashes for the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, |
| 1:31.7 | but a married woman hunts down a precious life. Now do you see the distinction? |
| 1:39.2 | The prostitute that Solomon mentions here is akin to what we've already talked about, |
| 1:43.7 | that wayward woman, that one who's enticing you to come to her. But in this case, Solomon has |
| 1:49.4 | made a distinction. He's saying, let's talk specifically about an adulterous. So this is a married |
| 1:56.9 | woman who is seeking out a sexual partner other than her spouse. You see, and there could be all |
| 2:02.8 | kinds of reasons for that. And let me just tell you something. I heard way back that has always |
| 2:07.4 | served me well. There may be reasons for sinful behaviors and choices, but there are never excuses |
| 2:15.6 | for them. What that means is there are things that contribute to the sinful behaviors we do, |
