I'm so sorry you got stuck in my head anyways. Tori and I are actually working on some fun projects in Michigan right now with Jordan and Malena Cicciotti.

Oh yeah. How's my name drop right there? There it was. We're actually sitting on their normal podcasting couch right now. It's kind of fun. They have all this beautiful equipment and everything for their for their podcast called Ask For Me in My House. And we brought our our Amazon equipment or Amazon equipment. But we love it. It's like it's like our little signature. Yeah, so y'all stay tuned because we're going to be doing some fun stuff with them this week. Absolutely. So we are picking up on day five of six of our hope and suffering

devotional from the Bible app. As always, there's a link to that description of this podcast. I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori's going to read the Devo. The scripture is Psalms 43 verse five. And it says this. Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God. I will praise him again. My savior and my God. So good. The devotional today is on hope. And it says Wikipedia defines it as an optimistic.

State of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes. But that is selling it short. For the Christian hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised. And it's strength isn't his faithfulness.

It isn't just a wish. It isn't just a dream. There is nothing uncertain about hope rooted in Jesus Christ based on the promises found in his word.

Hope placed in Christ will not waver and will not fail, no matter what the world throws at it. It is what keeps our faith alive, regardless of worldly outcome.

It is a counter cultural assurance that God will deliver his best in his time in his way.

But sometimes hope has to be fought for not an hour strength, but in choosing to depend on the one who is himself, our ultimate hope, who will never let us down.

What he can do is limitless, but even if he doesn't, he is still good.

The one who was and is and is to come will always be more than enough. We can find rest in that knowledge today and purpose in knowing that he delights in those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

I love that. And so as you're reading, I started peeking at the thoughts and questions for journaling that are listed below the devotional. Yeah.

And you ready to read that first one because it is fun. The first one is take a moment to think about where your hope is truly placed.

It is it is it in your situation or is it in Jesus?

I like that.

I actually really appreciated that question because my first reaction was like, oh, yeah, I absolutely have my hope in Jesus.

But then I was like, but why am I so worried? Yeah.

Why am I so stressed and how come I'm overthinking that?

And why am I trying to force that? You know what I mean?

And so I think what I was doing is, I'm by the way, y'all, this is live. This is live action externally processing with you guys.

This is not like a pre thought out answer. I'm like, I'm, I'm, yeah, I'm extremely thinking.
